Websites, AI automation and security for stylists, barbers and salon suite renters in Michigan

A website your clients find under your name.

If you leave the salon, your clients should still be able to find you. I build, host and look after a site in your own name, with your services, prices and hours on it, so the page goes where you go.

Start for $49/month

No set-up fee. Renews monthly; cancel with 30 days' notice.

Built, hosted and looked after for $49 a month, billed monthly. No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start.

I’m Kevin Ferron. Through Kevin Ferron Tech Consultancy & Digital Agency (KFTCDA), based in the Detroit metropolitan area, I build, host and look after websites, set up AI automation and set up account and device security for stylists, barbers and salon suite renters in Michigan.

Questions about the site first?

Five example layouts for a stylist’s site. The business is invented, and every layout is fully customizable: yours is designed with you on the intake call.

What the site can have for stylists, barbers and suite renters

These are examples of what the site can have. There is one enquiry form, and the pages are agreed on the intake call.

  • Your name on the web address

For example, a site that carries your own name, so clients who follow you to a new chair find the same page.

  • Services, prices and hours

A page of the services you offer, with the prices as you give them to me, and your hours, in your words. Changing one is a text change.

  • Online booking on Square Appointments

I set it up on your own Square account: up to 5 services, your availability, a deposit taken through your own Square account, reminders, an embed on your site and a link from Google, and one test booking, recorded.

How it works

  1. Ask and start

Send a short enquiry with the form. I reply within 24 hours. Use the link to start. No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start.

  2. Send what I need

You send the words and photos, and the intake call sets out exactly what I need. On the intake call we agree the pages and the enquiry form.

  3. Build, preview, live

I build it, and you see it before it goes live. From then on I host it, keep it updated and fix what breaks, and I make the small updates you ask for.

The whole process, step by step →

What is included

  • A site built for you: I build it from what you send me, and you see it before it goes live.
  • Hosting and looking after it: Hosting, backups, security updates and fixes when something breaks are part of the monthly price.
  • Small updates: Changes to text, photos, hours and prices after launch are included. New pages or features are quoted separately.
  • Fast, and built for local search: Pages that load quickly on a phone, set up for local search, with an enquiry form that sends each request straight to you.
  • Online booking on Square Appointments: I set it up on your own Square account: up to 5 services, your availability, a deposit taken through your own Square account, reminders, an embed on your site and a link from Google, and one test booking, recorded.
  • Google Analytics events: Every site on the plan sends Google Analytics events for taps to call and email, the enquiry form, clicks to book where the site has Square booking, directions and pages, to a property that you own, at no extra cost. See the events→
  • A privacy page: A short privacy page on your site that says, in plain words, that the site uses Google Analytics.
  • Me, directly: No account manager and no junior bench. You write to me and I answer.

AI help with cancellations and return visits

The site brings the enquiry in. A few assistants can then do the office work behind it, each with one job and only the tools it needs, and a person approves anything that goes out.

Likely first jobs: Waitlist fills cancellations; One no-show policy everywhere; Next-visit reminders.

An agent graph for salons and barbers3 triggers, New visit or cancellation, Client asks to fit in and Sunday 18:00, feed a coordinator that plans and routes. It delegates to 4 agents: Gap filler (fill slots from waitlist) with Appointment calendar (read) and SMS (draft), Reminder writer (reminders and policy) with Appointment calendar (read) and SMS/email (draft), Next-visit nudger (next-visit reminders) with Client records (read) and Email (draft) and Review replier (review replies) with Business listing (draft). A reviewer checks each draft: Checks each draft against the service menu, the no-show policy wording and the marketing consent list. A failed check goes back to the agent that made it. Then a person approves (Any client message, Charging a no-show fee and Price or policy changes), and only then is the output produced: Filled slots and Reminders.New visit or cancellationClient asks to fit inSunday 18:00planCoordinatorplans and routesdelegateGap fillerfill slots from waitlistAppointment calendar (read)SMS (draft)Reminder writerreminders and policyAppointment calendar (read)SMS/email (draft)Next-visit nudgernext-visit remindersClient records (read)Email (draft)Review replierreview repliesBusiness listing (draft)checkReviewerMenu, policy, consent listretryA person approvesAny client messageCharging a no-show feePrice or policy changesapproveFilled slotsReminders

Never without a person

No assistant charges a no-show fee, writes or posts a review, texts anyone who is not on the consent list or after a STOP, or quotes a price that is not on the service menu.

What the rules say, for stylists, barbers and salon suite renters

Questions from stylists and barbers

Yes. Michigan licenses barbers and cosmetologists, and a salon or barbershop needs its own establishment license (MCL 339.601, 339.1104, 339.1111, 339.1203b). Your site can show yours. This is not legal advice, so check the current rules with the state.

Moving chairs is a change to the address and hours on the contact page, which is a text change.

Yes. The site is for you, not the building. It can name the suite or salon you work from and be changed when that changes.

A cancelled slot is offered to the next client on your waitlist, and you tap yes. Nothing is sent without it, and no one is texted after a STOP.

The domain is bought and paid for separately from the monthly price. It stays in your name, and you keep it if you leave.

Me. I read every enquiry myself and reply within 24 hours.

It is built for local search and I check that your pages are indexed before I call it done. Nobody can promise a ranking, and I will not.

No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start. It renews automatically each month. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
