Websites, AI automation and security for roofers in Michigan
A website for the roofer who lives here.
After a storm, homeowners want a roofer who is local, not an out-of-town storm chaser. I build, host and look after a site for small local roofers, with your real address on every page and an estimate form that asks about the roof.
No set-up fee. Renews monthly; cancel with 30 days' notice.
Built, hosted and looked after for $49 a month, billed monthly. No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start.
I’m Kevin Ferron. Through Kevin Ferron Tech Consultancy & Digital Agency (KFTCDA), based in the Detroit metropolitan area, I build, host and look after websites, set up AI automation, set up account and device security and build fixed-price software for roofers in Michigan.
Five example layouts for a roofer’s site. The business is invented, and every layout is fully customizable: yours is designed with you on the intake call.
What the site can have for roofers
These are examples of what the site can have. There is one enquiry form, and the pages are agreed on the intake call.
Your address and your years here
For example, the shop’s street address and how long you have been local, in the header and on the contact page, so a homeowner can see you are not passing through.
A page for each job
For example, a page each for storm damage, replacement roofs and gutter installation, agreed on the intake call.
An estimate form for the roof
The enquiry form can ask for the property address, what happened and whether it is leaking now, and sends each request to you.
How it works
1
Ask and start
Send a short enquiry with the form. I reply within 24 hours. Use the link to start. No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start.
2
Send what I need
You send the words and photos, and the intake call sets out exactly what I need. On the intake call we agree the pages and the enquiry form.
3
Build, preview, live
I build it, and you see it before it goes live. From then on I host it, keep it updated and fix what breaks, and I make the small updates you ask for.
A site built for you: I build it from what you send me, and you see it before it goes live.
Hosting and looking after it: Hosting, backups, security updates and fixes when something breaks are part of the monthly price.
Small updates: Changes to text, photos, hours and prices after launch are included. New pages or features are quoted separately.
Fast, and built for local search: Pages that load quickly on a phone, set up for local search, with an enquiry form that sends each request straight to you.
Online booking on Square Appointments: I set it up on your own Square account: up to 5 services, your availability, a deposit taken through your own Square account, reminders, an embed on your site and a link from Google, and one test booking, recorded.
Google Analytics events: Every site on the plan sends Google Analytics events for taps to call and email, the enquiry form, clicks to book where the site has Square booking, directions and pages, to a property that you own, at no extra cost. See the events→
A privacy page: A short privacy page on your site that says, in plain words, that the site uses Google Analytics.
Me, directly: No account manager and no junior bench. You write to me and I answer.
AI help with storm intake and photo reports for roofers
The site brings the enquiry in. A few assistants can then do the office work behind it, each with one job and only the tools it needs, and a person approves anything that goes out.
Likely first jobs: Storm-day intake; Photo inspection reports; Agreements that meet the rules.
Reviewer
Checks each draft against the price book, the agreement checklist (licence statement, three-day notice where it applies) and the insurance line: estimates and photos only, never negotiating the claim.
Never without a person
No estimate, text or email goes out without a person's yes. No assistant writes to an insurer for the homeowner, uses claim-negotiating language, or changes a signed agreement without a written change order.
Crews share tablets and app logins. One account per person with multi-factor sign-in, device management, and backups of the photo records that may matter in a dispute.
Can a Michigan roofer handle a homeowner’s insurance claim?
No. Acting for a homeowner on an insurance claim is public adjusting, which Michigan licenses through DIFS. A roofer gives an estimate and photos, and the homeowner deals with the insurer. Residential roofing itself is licensed under a residential builder or a maintenance-and-alteration (roofing) license. This is not legal advice, so check the current rules with the state.
Yes. Michigan licenses residential roofing work under a residential builder license, or a maintenance-and-alteration license for roofing (MCL 339.2404), and your site can show the license number. This is not legal advice, so check the current rules with the state.
Yes. Gutters can have a page of their own, or sit with roofing on one page. It is agreed on the intake call.
Yes. Send the address and the year you started, and they go in the header and on the contact page.
It turns your roof photos into a clear report draft with none of the claim language a roofer should not use, and you check it and send it.
Forms and calls are ranked with leaking-now first, so the crew goes to the worst roofs first. A person replies to each one.
No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start. It renews automatically each month. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
Small updates after launch (text, photos, hours, prices) are included. New pages or features are quoted separately.
You do, either way. The domain is bought and paid for separately from the monthly price. It stays in your name, and you keep it if you leave.
Ready for a site that shows homeowners you are local?
Start the site, or tell me how long you have been local and where. I reply within 24 hours.
