AI automation, websites and security for pest control businesses in Michigan

Every enquiry sorted by pest and season.

People call the day they see one. I set up assistants that sort each enquiry by pest and season, write the service report from the tech’s notes and check the state registry before lawn work, with a person approving every one. A site with a page for each pest is where the calls start.

No set-up fee. Renews monthly; cancel with 30 days' notice.

Built, hosted and looked after for $49 a month, billed monthly. No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start.

I’m Kevin Ferron. Through Kevin Ferron Tech Consultancy & Digital Agency (KFTCDA), based in the Detroit metropolitan area, I build, host and look after websites, set up AI automation, set up account and device security and build fixed-price software for pest control businesses in Michigan.

Five example layouts for a pest control site. The business is invented, and every layout is fully customizable: yours is designed with you on the intake call.

AI help with service records and registry checks for pest control businesses

The site brings the enquiry in. A few assistants can then do the office work behind it, each with one job and only the tools it needs, and a person approves anything that goes out.

Likely first jobs: Service reports from tech notes; Registry checks before lawn work; Intake by pest and season.

An agent graph for pest control3 triggers, Customer reports a pest, Route day 6:30 and Registry list update, feed a coordinator that plans and routes. It delegates to 4 agents: Intake triage (pest intake) with Phone and text inbox (draft) and CRM (read), Neighbor notifier (registry check) with Registry address list (read), Job app (read) and Phone and text (draft), Service report writer (service reports) with Job app (draft) and Tech notes and photos (read) and Renewal chaser (plan renewals) with Accounting (read) and Email (draft). A reviewer checks each draft: Checks each draft against the product label, the licence and the notification registry. A failed check goes back to the agent that made it. Then a person approves (Every treatment plan, Registry notices and Any customer message), and only then is the output produced: Service report and Registry notice.Customer reports a pestRoute day 6:30Registry list updateplanCoordinatorplans and routesdelegateIntake triagepest intakePhone and text inbox (draft)CRM (read)Neighbor notifierregistry checkRegistry address list (read)Job app (read)Phone and text (draft)Service report writerservice reportsJob app (draft)Tech notes and photos (read)Renewal chaserplan renewalsAccounting (read)Email (draft)checkReviewerLabel, licence, registryretryA person approvesEvery treatment planRegistry noticesAny customer messageapproveService reportRegistry notice

Never without a person

No assistant chooses a product, a rate or a place to apply it, tells a customer a treatment is safe for children or pets, sends or skips a registry notice, or edits an application record afterwards.

What the site can have for pest control businesses

These are examples of what the site can have. There is one enquiry form, and the pages are agreed on the intake call.

  • A page for each pest

For example, a page each for mice, wasps and ants, agreed on the intake call, so someone searching for one finds the page about it.

  • An enquiry that says what and where

The enquiry form can ask what they found and where in the property, and sends each request to you.

  • The pest in season, first

Mice in the fall, ants in spring and wasps in summer: tell me when and the home page leads with that pest. It is a text and photo change.

How it works

  1. Ask and start

Send a short enquiry with the form. I reply within 24 hours. Use the link to start. No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start.

  2. Send what I need

You send the words and photos, and the intake call sets out exactly what I need. On the intake call we agree the pages and the enquiry form.

  3. Build, preview, live

I build it, and you see it before it goes live. From then on I host it, keep it updated and fix what breaks, and I make the small updates you ask for.

The whole process, step by step →

What is included

  • A site built for you: I build it from what you send me, and you see it before it goes live.
  • Hosting and looking after it: Hosting, backups, security updates and fixes when something breaks are part of the monthly price.
  • Small updates: Changes to text, photos, hours and prices after launch are included. New pages or features are quoted separately.
  • Fast, and built for local search: Pages that load quickly on a phone, set up for local search, with an enquiry form that sends each request straight to you.
  • Online booking on Square Appointments: I set it up on your own Square account: up to 5 services, your availability, a deposit taken through your own Square account, reminders, an embed on your site and a link from Google, and one test booking, recorded.
  • Google Analytics events: Every site on the plan sends Google Analytics events for taps to call and email, the enquiry form, clicks to book where the site has Square booking, directions and pages, to a property that you own, at no extra cost. See the events→
  • A privacy page: A short privacy page on your site that says, in plain words, that the site uses Google Analytics.
  • Me, directly: No account manager and no junior bench. You write to me and I answer.

Built for the pest in season

Mice in the fall, ants in spring and wasps in summer: tell me when and the home page leads with that pest. It is a text and photo change.

Tech phones and customer codes

Your phones and logins

Customer addresses, alarm codes and gate codes sit in the job app and on tech phones. Sign-in setup and device management come first.

  • An account and device stock-take
  • Sign-in setup
  • Device management
  • Backups
  • A quarterly routine

A fixed-price job, if the tools don’t do it

A registry cross-check against the day’s route.

A free scoping call picks the size of the job, and a fixed price comes in writing before anything starts.

What the rules say, for pest control businesses

What license does a Michigan pest control business need?

People who apply pesticides for hire in Michigan must hold MDARD’s applicator certification or registration, and the business needs a commercial applicator license. This is not legal advice, so check the current rules with MDARD.

Source: Pesticide control, MCL 324.8313 and 324.8314. Checked .

Questions from pest control owners

Yes. Michigan requires anyone applying pesticides for hire to be a certified or registered applicator, and the business to hold a commercial applicator license (MCL 324.8313 and 324.8314), and your site can show both. This is not legal advice, so check the current rules with the state.

The pages are agreed on the intake call. A page for each pest you treat is the usual starting point.

Yes. Tell me when, and it leads with that pest. It is a text and photo change. Small updates after launch (text, photos, hours, prices) are included. New pages or features are quoted separately.

The tech's notes and photos become a customer report and an application record in your format, checked against the label on file, and a person approves it.

Each day's turf and ornamental stops can be checked against the state's notification registry and the notice calls drafted for you. No assistant picks a product, a rate or a place.

No set-up fee. Month 1 is charged when you start. It renews automatically each month. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

Me. I read every enquiry myself and reply within 24 hours.

It is built for local search and I check that your pages are indexed before I call it done. Nobody can promise a ranking, and I will not.

Ready for a site that is found when the mice move in?

Start the site before the mice come in, or ask a question first. I reply within 24 hours.
