Kevin Ferron Tech Consultancy & Digital Agency

Software that runs your business, at a fixed price.

Based in metro Detroit, working with businesses locally and remotely.

Websites that bring in work, bookings that take themselves and AI that clears the admin. I don’t sell hours. We agree on a result you can check — an enquiry landing in your inbox, a customer booking without a phone call — and a fixed price for it. I’m paid as each milestone is met.

  • Sites built and hosted for $49/month, 12-month term
  • After the deposit, you pay only for checks that pass
  • Fixed price, never hourly
  • Milestone billing
  • Reply within 24 hours

Outcomes I deliver

Each one ends on a check, not a date on a timesheet.

The Software Checkup

Every software charge your business pays, checked against what your team uses, with a keep, cut, downgrade or build decision for each.

Done when: You have the report, the quick cuts are made, and every renewal for the next 12 months is on a calendar.

See the Software Checkup →

A website that brings in work

A fast site built for local search, with a form that captures enquiries or estimate requests and sends each one to you with where it came from.

Done when: It is live on your domain, your pages are indexed, and a test enquiry reaches your inbox.

$49/month, no up-front fee

Bookings and payments without the phone calls

Online booking that knows your real availability, takes payment or a deposit up front, sends reminders and lets customers reschedule themselves.

Done when: A customer can book, pay and reschedule end to end, and the booking appears in your calendar.

Admin that does itself

The repetitive work, such as answering the same questions, chasing invoices and copying details between apps, handed to AI and automation, with you signing off where it matters.

Done when: The agreed tasks run without you, and you can read a log of everything they did.

Built and maintained the skills and agent workflow an R&D firmware team adopted.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Scope

A free 30-minute call. We name the outcome and pick the tier: Fix, Build or Transform. I come back with the acceptance checks and a fixed price in writing.

  2. Step 2

    Agree

One page: the outcome, the milestones, the checks that close each one, and the fee. No timesheets, no rate card.

  3. Step 3

    Deliver

30% on signing. The rest is billed milestone by milestone, each one invoiced when its acceptance check passes.

  4. Step 4

    Hand over

You own the result, with the tests and documentation to keep it working. A website on the $49-a-month plan stays hosted and looked after for the 12-month commitment, with no up-front fee.

What I build

All kinds of software, designed and shipped end to end, from the data model to the last pixel. Open any of these for what it involves.

  1. 01Deep intelligence marketing sitesFast marketing sites that know their visitors.

Marketing sites built for search and speed from the start, with structured data, analytics tied to real outcomes, and AI where it earns its place: chat that knows your offering, copy that adapts to who is reading, and content that keeps up.

    • Technical SEO
    • Structured data
    • Core Web Vitals
    • Conversion analytics
    • AI chat and personalisation
    See the sites I build
  2. 02Booking and subscription platformsAvailability, payments and renewals that just work.

Scheduling that understands real availability, payments and recurring billing that handle failed cards and plan changes, and customer accounts that let people manage it all themselves.

    • Scheduling
    • Recurring billing
    • Customer accounts
    • Reminders
    • Payments
  3. 03Sales flows and CMS platformsPages your team edits, and funnels that convert.

Content models that marketing can own without a developer, landing pages and checkout flows built to be measured, and every lead landing in your CRM with where it came from.

    • Editable content models
    • Landing pages
    • Funnels and checkout
    • CRM integration
    • Analytics
    See my own sales page
  4. 04AI agentic workflowsModels that do the work, with plain code holding the gates.

Pipelines where models plan, call tools and hand work to each other, while ordinary code checks every step: tests, budgets, retries and a human sign-off where it matters. Cheap models take the routine steps and capable ones the hard calls, so the cost stays sane.

    • Tool use
    • Multi-model routing
    • Evals and guardrails
    • Cost tracking
    • Human in the loop
    Watch one loop, three models
  5. 05Specialized administrative formsThe long, conditional forms nobody wants to build.

Regulated and multi-page forms where sections appear only when they apply, validation knows the business rules, people can save and come back, and the output is exactly the document or record the back office expects.

    • Conditional logic
    • Rule-aware validation
    • Save and resume
    • PDF and document output
    • Accessibility
  6. 06Company portals and second brainsEverything your company knows, in one place it can ask.

Internal portals that bring documents, tools and data behind one login, with an AI layer that answers questions from your own material and shows its sources, so the knowledge in people’s heads and inboxes becomes something the whole company can use.

    • Single sign-on and roles
    • Search across systems
    • Answers with citations
    • Dashboards
    • Permissions-aware AI
  7. 07Mobile apps (Android and iOS)Apps that feel native on both stores.

Phone apps built for the way people actually use them: fast to open, usable offline, careful with notifications, and shipped through a release pipeline that gets fixes to both stores quickly.

    • iOS and Android
    • Offline sync
    • Push notifications
    • Store releases
    • Shared backend
  8. 08Complex workflow applicationsProcesses that span teams and weeks, modelled exactly.

Approvals, hand-offs and exceptions turned into explicit state machines, so every case is always in a known state, the right person is asked at the right time, and the history of who did what is never lost.

    • State machines
    • Roles and approvals
    • Audit history
    • Escalations
    • Integrations
  9. 09Complex rules enginesBusiness rules you can read, test and explain.

Pricing, eligibility, compliance and protocol logic taken out of scattered if-statements and made into versioned rules that can be tested against past cases, with every decision able to say which rules decided it.

    • Decision tables
    • Versioned rule sets
    • Explainable decisions
    • Replay against history
    • Protocol state machines
EV charging protocols, modelled from the standards
  10. 10Advanced 2D and 3D simulationsPhysics and systems, live in the browser.

Interactive simulations on the GPU with WebGPU and WebGL, built on the real equations and checked against the literature: for training, explaining a product, or letting people see how something works instead of reading about it.

    • WebGPU and WebGL
    • Physically accurate models
    • Interactive 3D
    • Scientific visualization
    • Runs on phones

More outcomes

  • Fix what's broken

A site, app or integration that has stopped working, or never quite did, put right.

Done when: The problem is reproduced, fixed, and a check proves it stays fixed.

  • Change your own site without calling anyone

Pages, prices and offers you edit yourself, without a developer.

Done when: The agreed change types no longer need me.

Did this at Zynga with a Unity level editor and at Booyah with build-pipeline hooks.

  • Forms that do the paperwork

Long or conditional forms that only ask what applies, check the answers and produce the document you need.

Done when: A customer can complete it on a phone and you receive the finished document.

  • Rescue a stalled project

A site or app another developer left half-done, brought back under control.

Done when: A stable release ships on the agreed date, or you have a written go/no-go with a costed plan.

  • Zero to launched product

A web or mobile product built and put in front of real users.

Done when: It is live, with the agreed scope: accounts, payments, an API.

Built KruX42, a universal music-link product with a public API.

  • Fractional CTO or team build-out

An engineering team stood up or reshaped, with a roadmap it can deliver.

Done when: The hires are made, the roadmap is set and the first milestone has shipped.

Built a 14-engineer mobile studio for EA, directed a 12-person org at Zynga, CTO at Booyah.

For engineering teams

  • Regression in minutes, not weeks

A scenario-driven integration test harness that runs against your real firmware or services and gates every merge in CI.

Done when: The harness is a required CI check, your agreed critical and fault paths are covered, and a reproducing scenario is the accepted proof a bug is fixed.

Built one that replaced manual regression passes taking days to weeks. It grew to about 110 scenarios and four teams adopted it.

  • Devices that recover themselves

One fault-handling system in place of scattered error handling, with rule-based recovery so units return to service on their own.

Done when: The named fault classes clear without a technician reset, verified by scenario tests.

Designed this for DC fast-charger firmware that had been crashing and misbehaving in the field.

  • An AI-native engineering team

Claude Code skills, agent loops and verification gates installed in your own repositories and working the way your team works.

Done when: Your team ships real changes through the agent loop behind CI gates, with cycle time measured before and after.

A pilot is a Build engagement, from $9,999.

Built and maintained the skills and agent workflow an R&D firmware team adopted.

  • EV charging conformance and interop

ISO 15118-20 bidirectional and dynamic control, Plug & Charge, OCPP 2.0.1, NACS or MCS, implemented or finished.

Done when: The charger passes the target conformance suite or interop session against named vehicles.

  • Third-party test suites on your hardware

An outside conformance suite running against your real hardware, unmodified, through EVerest, MQTT, Modbus or CAN.

Done when: The suite runs end to end on your hardware.

Delivered alone in three months; now used by major car makers.

  • One source of truth in a messy codebase

Duplicated logic such as limits, configuration or state pulled into one subsystem everything else queries.

Done when: The duplicates are deleted, tests are green, behaviour is unchanged.

  • An AI platform team, the first step

The first 30 days: charter, owner and gateway for one team. A written charter, a named owner, and one team sending its AI traffic through a gateway you control.

Done when: The charter is signed, the owner is named, and one team ships a real change through the gateway with its agent permissions and gates enforced.

Every hour you spend fighting your software is an hour you don't bill.

Chasing enquiries by email, retyping bookings into a spreadsheet, waiting on a developer to change one line on your site: it's all unpaid work. I build the software that does it for you, and I stay around to keep it working.

  • A site that brings in work.

Built for search from the first page, with every enquiry arriving with where it came from. Your site stops being a brochure and starts selling.

  • Bookings that take themselves.

Customers book, pay and reschedule without a phone call. Reminders and failed cards are handled before you notice.

  • Change it yourself.

Prices, pages and offers you edit on your own schedule, not a developer’s.

Did this at Zynga with a Unity level editor and at Booyah with build-pipeline hooks.

  • The admin you hate, done by software.

AI and automation take the routine steps; you sign off on the ones that matter.

Built the Claude Code agent workflow an R&D firmware team adopted.

  • Bugs that stay dead.

Every fix lands with a test that reproduces it, so the same defect never reaches a customer twice. Quality ratchets up with every release instead of eroding.

Made a reproducing scenario the standard proof a bug was fixed.

  • Built to the standard of software that can't fail.

The engineer who wrote firmware for chargers deployed worldwide builds your site. You get that care at a small-business price.
